I think Allie did a great job, providing insightful feedback on the cover and internals, text and artworks. She challenged the content where relevant, supplied documented explanations, queried gender representation and helped improve the book and portray the characters in an even more accurate and sensitive manner. I have recently been working with a children's book author and an illustrator to co-produce a picture e-book on the topic of children's feelings about school (How I Feel About My School - Lehmann and Eklund). A key goal for this book was to highlight the individuality of children's experiences by tracing four different story characters across a school day.
